The current Lord of the Manor of Ulting is John Wright, KM, KCDO and Laura Ferrara-Wright is the Lady of Ulting.

The Lord of Ulting is American, with English ancestry on both his maternal and paternal sides, which extends back into Essex, and Yorkshire, including ancestorial ties to several manorial lordships found in the Visitations. He also has Scottish lineage on his maternally side, including ties to the Campbell's and MacGregor's in Killin Scotland.  He served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division and studied at the University of Tennessee earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2008. He is employed at a large corn (maize) processing facility where he manages capital projects including infrastructure and processing equipment.

 In 2022, he received a grant of Arms via Letters Patent from the Chief Herald of the Republic of Malta. He is also a member of the Manorial Society of Great Britain, serves as the Chairman of the Council of Manorial Lords, serves as the chairman of the Knoxville Branch of the Royal Society of St. George, is a life member of the American Heraldry Society, and is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

In 2023 he was make a Knight Commander in the Order of Prince Danillo I of Montenegro, and in 2024 he was admitted to the third class of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

The Lord of the Manor of Ulting feels honoured and privileged to be the custodian of this esteemed title and delights in visiting the village of Ulting each year. He cherishes the friendships that he has made in the village and looks forward to making new acquaintances. It is his desire to utilize this role as it was originally intended, to be of benefit to the people of the village of Ulting.

The Lady of Ulting is a native of Italy and is a naturalized US Citizen.  She studied Montessori Education in Italy and was an elementary teacher in central Naples for 12 years.  She is a Pâtissier in her free time and enjoys visiting with her family in Italy.
