Richard Lee, Officer of Arms

Richard Lee has lived with his family in the village since 2003.
Their house dates from the Queen Anne/George 1st period and was formerly part of the wider Ulting Hall Estate.
Richard worked for >30 years in a variety of Investment Banking roles in the Square Mile in London, latterly as Head of Derivative Sales in EMEA for a major U.S. Bank before retiring recently for a more relaxed pace of life.
He can regularly be seen enjoying the local area, out walking with Rupert his Fox-Red Labrador.
Richard has a keen interest in History and is fascinated by the origins of the village, his property and the surrounding area.
He has found various artefacts when doing major renovations to both the house and its land including a long disused well, a granary barn complete with its original staddle stones and a nesting box for a bird of prey, plus some old carpentry tools and even ancient coinage.
